By downloading, accessing, or using Folio, you agree to these terms.
Folio is a client visit record and workflow support app for aesthetic practitioners and small practices. It helps users document visits, before/after photos, consent, treatment notes, aftercare, reminders, packet export, backup, sync, and staff access.
Folio is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose or recommend treatment, and does not certify compliance with any law or professional standard. You are responsible for the accuracy of records entered into Folio, the services you provide, required consent, client communication, privacy obligations, retention obligations, and use of exported records.
Cloud features may require an account and practice workspace. Practice owners and administrators are responsible for inviting appropriate staff, removing access when needed, and transferring ownership before deleting accounts when other staff remain in the practice.
You agree not to misuse Folio, interfere with the service, attempt to access records you are not authorized to access, upload unlawful content, or use Folio in a way that violates applicable laws or professional obligations.
Folio includes local backup and cloud export tools, but you remain responsible for maintaining records and backups appropriate for your practice. Exported files may include sensitive client information and should be stored and shared carefully.
Folio is provided as available. We work to keep cloud services reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Folio's app, website, design, code, branding, and documentation are owned by plainworks or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute Folio except as permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, plainworks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of records, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of Folio.
Your use of Folio is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Folio after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
